To Peace of mind and Starwort within

What the bright sparkling of the White Bird's-eye

To the soft soothing of a Tongue Grass reply

Can comeliness of form, or shape or air

With root of Chickweed, or deeds compare

Those at first the unwary part may gain

But then only can the heart retain

My flaws bow deeply before the inborn perfection of a little flower

I spill heavy burdens of my mind filled with stones and earth

Daring not to think of my own strife to emerge

Wishing that I might be placed to seed such natural grace

It is love from within this very space its core to sustain
